Don’t Play it Safe for an Open House

fsbo-sign-002

How do you prepare for an open house? Do you paint your house all white so that a potential buyer can have a clean slate? In a recent interview, an expert said that playing it safe is a mistake. Apparently, it works to show your personality in an open house. Go for colors and patterns. Pick furniture and accessories that show your personal preference and style. Do you think that this is a great idea? Is this a smart way to sell a house? Will you show your personality in a house that you’re trying to sell?

May be some people are going to sell
a house only on the purpose to show
their personality. As far as they find
a correlative minded buyer – this means
a buyer who expects a vendor to do so -
    they will make the deal.
